Frequently Asked Questions

  • We might just come off a little biased answering this question but we feel like yoga is for EVERYONE. Yoga isn’t just for one kind of person, body type, age, sex, or race, nor is it just another way to stay fit. Yoga is essentially a life hack to living a peaceful, healthy, and harmonic existence. It’s a way of living that brings mind, body, and spirit into union which every human being can benefit from. But to get a little more specific, I’d say: if you’ve been feeling flighty, anxious, depressed, or disconnected from your body/self, try yoga. If you’re looking for a way to slow down, find stillness, or clarity, try yoga. If you want to increase your patience, balance, flexibility, mental strength, muscle tone, life expectancy, or any of the other countless benefits you’ll experience, try yoga!..... Have we convinced you yet?

  • This is one of the biggest misconceptions about yoga. You do NOT have to be flexible. Yoga is designed to increase your flexibility. It comes with patience, and consistent practice. Also, keep in mind that flexibility is just a bonus. Yoga provides people of all ages, backgrounds, shapes, and sizes, with their own practice, and growth in yoga takes many forms. This is an opportunity to explore your own unique body, and deepening your connection to Self.
